Overview

In this role you will architect and scale multi-cloud foundations (GCP & AWS) for automotive-focused platforms, balancing security with developer agility. You’ll shape solution patterns, bridge cloud services with hardware, and standardize CI/CD and observability to enable go-live readiness. You will guide junior cloud engineers, translate regulatory requirements into automated checks, and champion modern distributed systems. This role offers impact across architecture, security, and DevSecOps within Valeo’s innovative mobility mission.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Design scalable multi-cloud landing zones (GCP & AWS) and implement IaC governance for reproducibility
Blueprint cloud-native patterns and ensure production-readiness before Go-Live; architect hybrid cloud-HIL/SiL solutions
Create a Golden Path for developers by standardizing CI/CD pipelines and observability stacks
Lead DevSecOps and Compliance-as-Code, translating ASPICE/ISO 26262 into automated checks and gates
Provide technical mentorship, conduct design reviews, and elevate distributed systems capabilities

Zentrale Anforderungen

8+ years of enterprise-scale cloud architecture design and implementation on AWS and/or GCP
Proven Platform Engineering and SRE experience
Expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), Docker, Helm, and AWS services (IAM, Route 53, CloudFront)
Strong networking and toolchain knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, VPN, VPC, Transit Gateway) and CI/CD/observability tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch)
Hands-on experience in regulated environments with compliance-as-code, cybersecurity concepts (OIDC, PKI, Zero-Trust)
Excellent leadership and communication skills; automotive standards experience (ASPICE, ISO 26262) is a strong plus
Fluent in German and English
