Principal Consultant - ServiceNow

Role Overview

As a Principal ServiceNow Consultant at Devoteam, you'll be part of an agile, European team with over 500 tech experts and 200 certified consultants who are passionate about transforming ServiceNow platforms into real digital success stories. Our focus is on creating impact for our customers through sustainable process improvements, excellent architecture, and scalable ServiceNow solutions.

What You Will Do

In this role, you'll take on a leading role in strategic and complex ServiceNow transformation projects: from architecture and roadmap to design & implementation, rollout, governance, and continuous optimization.

You'll act as lead architect and strategic advisor for our customers, translating business strategies into scalable, secure, and sustainable ServiceNow solutions. You'll accompany international companies in their digital transformation of their IT and enterprise service processes.

Requirements

• Min. 9 years of experience in the consulting or IT service industry, with at least 5 years of focus on ServiceNow.
• Proven experience in leading large, complex, and multi-modular ServiceNow implementations.
• In-depth expertise in the ServiceNow ecosystem, as well as in architecture, platform design, and technical implementation.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and at least one Certified Implementation Specialist certification, e.g. CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, or comparable.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, and web services, e.g. REST and SOAP.
• Proficiency in process modeling, process optimization, and translating professional requirements into technical solutions.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
• Experience with agile methods, e.g. Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of several ServiceNow areas, such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, GRC, HRSD, CSM, or Asset Management.
• Hands-on experience with platform implementation, data modeling, integrations, and IT service processes.
• The ability to communicate technical and strategic topics to stakeholders up to C-level.
• A visionary, advisory personality with an ownership mentality and high quality standards.
• Experience in pre-sales, solution design, RFPs, or bid processes.
• Enjoy leading teams, sharing knowledge, and developing consultants.
