Principal Designer (m/f/d)

In this role, you lead the UX of key products from concept to launch, partnering with product, engineering and research teams. You own end-to-end design experiences and help steer product direction with strategic input. You translate insights into new concepts and drive progress in cross-functional forums. You will contribute to a growing design community and push for craft and impact at scale. • Lead the user experience from concept to launch in collaboration with PMs, engineers, UX researchers and content designers
• Own end-to-end responsibility for a specific product design experience
• Contribute to strategic decisions shaping the future direction of AutoScout24 products
• Translate research insights into ideas with research and analytics teams
• Facilitate strategic conversations and drive progress toward goals
• Represent design in forums with product and engineering teams
• Continually push boundaries and seek opportunities to improve
• Be an active contributor to the design community

• +7 years in-house Product Designer experience in software for e-commerce/marketplaces or similar
• Strong UX design skills demonstrated in a portfolio
• Experience mentoring designers and strong written and verbal communication + facilitation
• Critical eye for craft and a drive to challenge the status quo
• Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions
• Experience collaborating with Visual/Product Designers, UX Researchers, and Writers
• Experience developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making impact-driven decisions
