Principal Engineer NVM and Technology Development (f/m/div)

In this Principal Engineer role, you will advance embedded non-volatile memory (NVM) technologies in collaboration with foundries to fuel innovation on the Infineon roadmap. You will operate within Manufacturing and Operations to sustain and improve NVM performance, reliability, and manufacturability in a high-tech cleanroom setting. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives across R&D, manufacturing, and product development, shaping future memory solutions for market needs. This position offers meaningful impact through technology leadership and global collaboration.

• Develop and maintain state-of-the-art embedded non-volatile memory (NVM) technologies with semiconductor foundries
• Support technology development and sustaining projects to ensure continuous innovation and operational excellence
• Drive development and execution of Infineon’s embedded NVM technology roadmap
• Lead and contribute to initiatives to improve NVM performance, reliability, manufacturability, and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams across R&D, manufacturing, and product development
• Identify, analyze, and implement technology enhancements to meet future market and customer requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Semiconductor Technology, or related field
• Proven experience in development of non-volatile memory technologies and devices
• Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and memory technology concepts
• Experience and knowledge in RRAM technology highly desirable
• Ability to work effectively in multinational and cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on approach to technology development
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
