Overview

As Principal Engineer, you will lead and mentor projects in next-gen BMP, PSiP and VRM for computing systems, shaping roadmaps and technical solutions. You’ll drive innovations in DC-DC, control, magnetics, semiconductors, PMICs and packaging, and contribute patents and publications. You partner with industry and academia to push system-level power architectures for xPUs and HPCs, delivering high-efficiency, high-current power delivery on a global scale.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Provide technical supervision of projects/work packages for BMP, PSiP, and VRM for computing systems (ASICs, xPU, HPCs)
  • Develop roadmaps for power management and power supply for computing systems
  • Propose new technical solutions to challenges in power management for xPUs and HPCs (DC-DC topologies, control, magnetic, semiconductors, PMIC, packaging)
  • Propose innovations in system-level power management and power architectures for computing systems
  • Produce patents and peer-reviewed publications in power management and power supply for xPUs and HPCs
  • Create insight reports on DC-DC topologies, control, magnetics, semiconductors, and package used in BMP, PSiP, VRM
  • Perform feasibility analyses of cutting-edge DC-DC concepts for computing applications
  • Establish collaborations with European industrial institutions and universities
  • Represent the center at internal/external events (conferences, workshops)
  • Supervise less experienced colleagues
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • Ph.D. in Power Electronics (or related field) with minimum 2 years post-graduate R&D
  • M.Sc. accepted only with several years (10+) of advanced R&D in computing power domain
  • Demonstrated portfolio with granted patents, peer-reviewed publications, or widely adopted open-source projects
  • Proven R&D track record in high-frequency, high-efficiency, high-current density power delivery
  • Deep expertise in power supply design for xPU and HPCs (architecture, topology, control, magnetics, packaging)
  • Professional fluency in English with excellent technical documentation and presentation skills
