Principal Enterprise Architect Professional Services (Germany)

In this role you guide architecture through transformation lifecycles, earning executive confidence and shaping value-driven decisions. You bridge business goals with technical delivery, define target states and transition plans, and drive platform adoption across large programs. You’ll act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural integrity and lasting impact. This is a high-impact role at Adobe, leveraging TOGAF-based governance, ADKAR change approaches, and AI-enabled platforms to deliver enterprise-scale outcomes.

• Assess and advance the architectural intent from pre-sales
• Provide architectural leadership across the transformation lifecycle and guide platform adoption
• Convert pre-sales success roadmaps into managed transition plans with sequencing and risk controls
• Develop industry-specific target-state architectures, reference models, and phased implementation plans
• Maintain executive trust and act as a strategic advisor to senior business and technology collaborators
• Collaborate with licensing and services sales to improve major sales initiatives
• Coordinate architecture efforts among delivery teams, SMEs, and partners for build integrity
• Establish and lead architecture governance and assurance forums
• Partner with pre-sales to capture lessons learned and improve reference architectures for future work

• Enterprise architecture leadership across large-scale transformation programmes
• Strong grounding in TOGAF principles and governance
• Broad understanding of digital marketing, data, and activation ecosystems
• Ability to translate architecture into business-relevant outcomes for executives
• Experience as trusted architectural advisor to senior executives
• Strong understanding of AI, automation, and emerging agentic models
• Experience working with delivery teams, partners, and vendors
• Ability to apply ADKAR change and adoption approaches
• Collaborative, outcome-focused leadership with emphasis on value and adoption
• Fluency in English and German
