Principal Insurance Consultant – Insurance Market Expert

• Provide expert knowledge on insurance processes and business models as the insurance industry voice at codecentric.
• Actively participate in client projects and support client meetings/pre-sales sessions to implement solutions with real business value.
• Support Account Managers with domain insights, talking points, and high-quality materials for client engagements.
• Provide subject-matter input for consulting and marketing: promote professional exchange with our consultants, ensure the “language of insurers,” and help shape campaigns.
• Represent the company on stages and at events and expand and leverage your professional network within the insurance sector.
• Market monitoring and trend analysis: identify trends, regulatory developments, and technological innovations in the insurance market and derive new business opportunities and advisory approaches.
• Work closely with our consultants: foster professional exchange among consultants, identify trends, and systematically expand our insurance-specific expertise.

Requirements

• You have many years of experience in the insurance industry—ideally in a transformation or consulting role.
• You are familiar in detail with insurers’ business processes, products, value chains, and challenges.
• You have consulting experience and solid knowledge from digitalization, transformation, or software projects in the insurance domain.
• You understand how business and IT can collaborate successfully.
• You know business problems, use cases, and functional requirements of the industry from first‑hand experience.
• You identify market trends early and can assess their relevance for insurers and for our service portfolio.
• Networker & communicator: you enjoy building contacts and confidently representing codecentric on stage or in workshops.
