Principal Linux Engineer (Fully Remote)

Position Summary

• Own software solutions for Rocky Linux, building, patching, and testing userspace packages.
• Improve tooling, automation, and testing for the operating system.
• Take part in architecture-level discussions and drive proofs of concept.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Linux OS packaging (RPM/DEB) and CVE remediation.
• Proficiency in Bash, YAML, Python, GoLang, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Linux administration, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
