Principal Mechanical Engineer (Industrial Robot Body)

Stellenbeschreibung:

  • Responsible for the conceptual design, detailed structural design, and simulation analysis of industrial robot bodies, including core structures such as joint modules, body frames, arm links, and transmission systems.
  • Lead the selection of industrial robot reducers, matching of servo motors, design verification of transmission chains, bearing selection, and mechanical calculations to ensure the machine's load capacity, rigidity, and dynamic performance.
  • Utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA), multi-body dynamics simulation, and other tools to complete structural strength, stiffness, modal, and fatigue life analyses, optimizing structural lightweighting and reliability.
  • Lead robot reliability and quality improvement initiatives; develop comprehensive machine testing plans, and oversee performance testing, life testing, failure analysis, and design iteration.
  • Track cutting-edge technology roadmaps for six-axis industrial robots domestically and internationally; participate in product platform planning and technology pre-research to support product competitiveness enhancement.
  • Collaborate with control, electrical, process, and testing teams to complete the full-cycle development from design, prototyping, validation, through to mass production handover.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Engineering Mechanics, Vehicle Engineering, or related fields; 7+ years of experience in industrial robot body development.
  • Proficient in the full design and development process of heavy-payload six-axis robots; experience in successfully mass-produced robot development projects is preferred.
  • Skilled in the selection and application of core components such as RV reducers, harmonic reducers, transmission ball screws, and servo motors; deep understanding of transmission system failure mechanisms, robot precision, and reliability design.
  • Proficient in 3D design software; capable of performing finite element simulation and analysis using ANSYS, Abaqus, or equivalent tools.
  • Solid foundation in mechanical analysis, tolerance analysis, and mechanical system integration; capable of independently completing machine conceptual design and resolving key technical challenges.
  • Experience in robot reliability design, quality control, and testing validation; familiar with relevant industry standards and specifications.
  • Strong project execution capability, problem-solving skills, and teamwork spirit; highly self-motivated and able to undertake high-difficulty technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the mass production development of heavy-payload six-axis robots with 500kg or above rated payload.
  • Experience in integrated joint module design, lightweight design, and high-reliability design for robots.
