What You'll Do

As a Principal Platform Engineer, you will design, build and improve core platform capabilities across cloud, container platforms, automation, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability and security controls. You will work closely with platform and engineering teams to translate platform strategy into practical, reusable and production-ready capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Platform Capabilities: Build and improve reusable platform services, modules, templates and engineering blueprints.
• Hands‑on Delivery: Develop prototypes, automation patterns and robust technical solutions for hybrid cloud and container platforms.
• Cloud‑Native Engineering: Support Kubernetes/OpenShift, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, GitOps and platform automation initiatives.
• Operational Quality: Embed observability, reliability, resilience and maintainability into platform solutions from the beginning.
• Security and Compliance: Contribute to secure‑by‑design platform capabilities, policy enforcement and technical guardrails.
• Engineering Improvement: Reduce manual effort, simplify complex processes and help mature the platform through pragmatic technical improvements.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate is a strong hands‑on engineer with deep technical expertise and a pragmatic problem‑solving mindset. You are comfortable building, testing, automating and improving complex platform capabilities. You bring experience in hybrid cloud environments, Kubernetes/OpenShift, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability and security controls. Software engineering experience is a plus, particularly for developing and maintaining platform‑level capabilities and services. You enjoy solving technical challenges and creating solutions that can be reused and adopted by other teams.
