Principal Robotics Motion Control Engineer

Stellenbeschreibung:

  • Own the development of robot motion control algorithms to improve motion efficiency, accuracy, or vibration suppression (deep ownership of one area is sufficient).
  • Pioneer new directions in robot motion control algorithms, including but not limited to the convergence of motion control with AI, Model Predictive Control (MPC), and modern control theory.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of core robot component characteristics and provide optimization recommendations for reducers, motors, servo systems, and controller hardware.
  • Lead and guide prototyping of novel architectures, core algorithm development and simulation, and critical performance validation on prototypes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Control Engineering, Automation, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields; 10+ years of hands-on robotics R&D experience .
  • Proven understanding of the relationship between overall machine performance and core component characteristics; demonstrated success in robot vibration reduction and accuracy improvement.
  • Deep expertise in robot motion control algorithms, force control algorithms, and flexible dynamics; strong command of control theory fundamentals.
  • Prior experience at tier-1 industrial robot companies strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
