Role responsibilities: Own and execute the R&D strategy for the group - from idea creation to commercialisation. Train, support and mentor junior scientists within the team - offering invaluable technical guidance to enhance their potential. Lead R&D projects from planning to execution phase - manage resources, timelines, budgets, client communication etc. Role requirements: PhD educated in a relevant scientific discipline - Molecular Biology, Plant Biology etc. 7+ years of industry experience not generated within academia is essential. Proven experience in taking ownership of creating and executing complex R&D projects. Sound scientific knowledge of different types of protein expression techniques and managing DSP activities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges independently. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a track record of successful collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment. Fluent English.
