Principal SoC Architect – Research & Development

As a Principal SoC Architect on our Research & Development team, you will shape the future of technology by driving groundbreaking projects and bringing new ideas to life.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and specifications for System‑on‑Chip (SoC) architectures while balancing performance, efficiency, cost, and safety requirements
• Define differentiating components (power control and management IP) and select and integrate standard IP blocks (CPU, memory, interfaces)
• Build and maintain architectural models and virtual prototypes
• Develop and implement digital power control and management algorithms using state‑of‑the‑art AI‑driven design methodologies
• Collaborate with internal and external experts (e.g., application, analog, digital, mixed‑signal, and software teams) as well as management

Qualifications

• A solid technical background based on a degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in SoC architecture and concept engineering, digital or mixed‑signal design and verification, and embedded microcontroller systems
• Experience in digital power conversion topologies (e.g., PFC, FB, LLC), digital signal processing, and control theory
• Experience with digital power control algorithms and techniques
• A passion for technology and the willingness to take initiative
• Strong system‑level thinking and analytical skills
• Openness to applying advanced methodologies (e.g., agentic AI) and learning about new applications
• Very good communication skills to collaborate with team members, experts, and management
• Fluent English skills; German language skills are a plus
