Principal Software Developer (f/m/d) - Market Data

In this Senior Software Developer role, you’ll join Solactive’s Market Data team to design and implement data pipelines and high-performance services. You will collaborate with analysts and data engineers to build scalable data processing solutions with strong reliability and low latency. The position offers opportunities to tackle challenging data engineering problems and shape best practices in a fast-growing FinTech. You’ll work in a cross-functional setting to deliver accurate, timely market data to clients and vendors.

• Design and implement complex data processing projects for the data pipeline
• Create a long-term data landscape serving as the single source of truth
• Develop ETL processes
• Build high-performance APIs and streaming solutions for clients and data vendors
• Act as an in-house consultant for data tracking, storage, and access

• 8+ years of software development or data engineering experience
• at least 5 years of Python experience
• strong understanding of microservice architectures and design patterns
• experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) including schema evolution and ORMs (SQLAlchemy, JPA, Hibernate)
• GCP cloud-native development
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• ability to define Docker images per Twelve-Factor App methodology
• Git proficiency and modern version-control practices
