About the Role

We are now seeking an experienced Principal Structural Engineer, Coffee Machine R&D to take technical ownership of our fully automatic coffee machine platform — from architecture definition through mass production — supporting Midea's global coffee appliance expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end structural development, from concept through mass production launch, resolving critical technical bottlenecks along the way
• Define architecture and technical standards for scalable, modular next-generation platforms
• Translate market and user insights into structural innovation; mentor junior engineers
• Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, manufacturing, and marketing teams

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural R&D experience with pressure-based coffee machines; fully automatic platform experience strongly preferred
• Strong grounding in plastics/metals, mold design, and manufacturing processes
• Proven track record leading technical projects and mentoring engineers
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills
