Your responsibilities include:

• You will provide technical leadership to the team and serve as a competent point of contact for employees on all technical matters.
• In doing so, you will plan and coordinate the optimal deployment of the team, including scheduling for absences and on-call duties, as well as managing service and project assignments.
• You will support the team lead in organizational matters.
• Working closely with other departments and our customers, you will analyze and develop solutions for complex, cross-functional tasks and challenges; in doing so, you will serve as the point of escalation for issues and ensure their sustainable resolution.
• With your expert knowledge, you will advise and support clients and colleagues on projects and support tasks across the entire field.
• You will be responsible for managing deadlines for maintenance and service contracts and ensuring they are processed on time.

What you bring to the table:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable qualification and have many years of professional experience.
• You have experience leading teams and can inspire and motivate employees; furthermore, you enjoy helping them grow and are not afraid to make decisions.
• You have a strong understanding of network protocols, IT infrastructure, and network security, and possess expertise in working with virtualization solutions.
