Private Equity Associate / Senior Associate

We are currently partnering with a highly regarded middle-market private equity firm in Frankfurt that is looking to add an Associate or Senior Associate to its investment team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established investor with a strong track record of partnering with founder-led, family-owned, and corporate carve-out opportunities across the DACH region. The successful candidate will gain exposure to the full investment lifecycle, working alongside an experienced team on platform acquisitions, add-ons, portfolio management, and exits.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and execute new investment opportunities across a range of sectors
Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis, and commercial assessment of potential acquisitions
Support due diligence processes and transaction execution
Prepare investment committee materials and presentations
Work closely with management teams and portfolio companies to drive value creation initiatives
Monitor portfolio performance and assist with exit planning processes
Engage with advisors, lenders, management teams, and other transaction stakeholders

Requirements:

2–5 years of relevant experience within Investment Banking, Private Equity, Transaction Services, or a related field
Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Transaction experience with M&A, leveraged buyouts, or strategic acquisitions
Strong academic background
Fluent German and English language skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
