Arbeitsort: Die Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH ist ein Entwicklungs- und Produktionsstandort für Leistungstransistoren (Power MOSFET) mit über 550 Mitarbeitenden. Vishay investiert in Itzehoe in eine neue Halbleiter-Chip-Fabrik und erweitert damit künftig die Produktionskapazitäten. Job Location: Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH is a development and manufacturing facility for power transistors (power MOSFETs) with over 550 employees. Vishay is investing in a new semiconductor chip factory in Itzehoe, thereby expanding its production capacity in the future. Was Sie machen werden:

• Development, implementation and optimization of run-to-run controllers to stabilize and improve manufacturing processes.
• Analysis of large volumes of process, measurement and production data to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Development, validation and monitoring of statistical models and machine learning applications for production‑critical processes.
• Evaluation and continuous improvement of the performance of control models during ongoing manufacturing operations.
• Close collaboration with process, equipment and automation engineers to implement data‑driven control concepts.
• Integration of R2R solutions into existing manufacturing and IT systems.
• Supporting yield improvements, root‑cause analyses and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Developing dashboards and reports for monitoring and visualizing controlled processes.
• Contributing to the further development of APC and data science solutions for the next generation of semiconductor manufacturing.

Was Sie mitbringen sollten:

• A successfully completed degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a comparable discipline.
• Experience in data science, statistical modelling and machine learning.
• Very good programming skills, ideally in Python.
• Experience in working with large volumes of data and database systems (SQL, data lakes, etc.).
• Analytical thinking and a passion for complex technical concepts.
• Ideally, knowledge of Advanced Process Control, Run‑to‑Run Control, FDC or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ProcessWorks/Discover R2R (Onto) would be an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Very good written and spoken German and English (minimum level B2).
