The fact that our actions have a direct impact on people's well-being is what drives us every day.Your Role:Design, implement, and scale chemical processes for industrial manufacturingAnalyze, evaluate, and implement polymer production processes for intraocular lensesAssess manufacturing methods for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, quality, and functionality; identify improvement opportunitiesPlan, conduct, or commission experiments in process areas, and document resultsOptimize and automate chemical processesQualify equipment and processes; ensure reliable operationMonitor plant quality and output and drive continuous improvementYour Profile:A successfully completed degree in chemistry, process engineering, or a related fieldSome professional experience in an industrial setting; experience in regulated environments is a plusStrong knowledge of polymer chemistryOptional but beneficial: experience with acrylates or radical polymerizationStructured, goal-oriented problem-solving approachHigh initiative, strong commitment, and flexibilityEnjoy collaborating in international teams; strong interpersonal and communication skillsYou value diverse perspectives and contribute to an inclusive team cultureProficiency in German and English (written and spoken)Your ZEISS Recruiting Team:Nicole Kraft-Henzelmann
