Process Engineer CMP (m/w/d)

Location

Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH – development and manufacturing facility for power transistors (Power MOSFETs) in Itzehoe, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Independent management and optimization of the CMP process module.
• Definition and implementation of control strategies for the process module.
• Technological commissioning and qualification of CMP systems.
• Investigation and resolution of process issues on production equipment.
• Process monitoring using statistical methods (SPC).
• Analysis of defective products using physical measurement methods.
• Development, characterization, and qualification of new processes.
• Implementation of procedures into the production control system.
• Management of projects aimed at cost reduction and improvements in quality and productivity.
• Specification and qualification of new equipment and consumables.
• Technical coordination of department‑specific projects.
• Training of production staff.

Qualifications

• Successful master’s degree in physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of CMP processes and experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently, analytical thinking, and commitment to quality.
• Fluency in spoken and written German and English.
