Position Overview

As a Process & Maintenance Engineer in a shift system, you will ensure production availability and the proper execution of maintenance operations for equipment in a 24/7 continuous shift system in your area.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production availability and proper execution of maintenance operations for equipment in a 24/7 continuous shift system.
• Your area covers all equipment and process steps of Pre‑Assembly (Thinning, Dicing, and future MEMS multi‑wafer processes).
• Assess the manufacturing condition of wafers during equipment faults, retrieve wafers, and perform corresponding re‑processing and documentation.
• Monitor wafers in Process (WIP) and ensure timely processing of hold material.
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance while adhering to safety‑critical requirements and work instructions.
• Maintain high machine availability (uptime) and equipment stability using methods such as SPC.
• Assist in equipment commissioning.
• Support the creation of maintenance instructions and associated checklists; detailed documentation of your work in our maintenance applications is expected.
• Work closely with internal teams and external service partners.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed a technical vocational training as an electrician, mechatronics technician, or mechanic.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry or completion of a technical degree or master’s degree is preferred.
• Team‑oriented, flexible, motivated, resilient, and responsible.
• Self‑sufficient, accountable, engaged, solution‑oriented, and reliable.
• Excellent German and good English skills in spoken and written form.
