Overview

As a Procurement Project Manager at Helsing, you own procurement activities across development and customer projects, guiding supplier selection, cost control, and quality from prototyping to production ramp-up. You will engage early in planning to shape sourcing strategies and align procurement with engineering milestones. You’ll coordinate across engineering, supply chain, production, and external partners to ensure timely delivery and compliance. This role offers incremental independence as you take on more complex scopes within a mission-driven, innovative environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Lead procurement activities across development and customer projects to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets
Contribute to sourcing strategies early in project planning and flag supply risks
Research, evaluate and recommend suppliers for technical components and systems with clear criteria
Interface between engineering, procurement, suppliers, and production to ensure clear technical requirements and timely issue resolution
Support prototyping, industrialisation, and ramp-up phases with adaptable procurement approaches
Track supplier performance and flag deviations early for corrective action
Help build and maintain a qualified supplier base meeting Helsing's technical and compliance needs

Zentrale Anforderungen

Managed procurement in technically complex or project-driven environments
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation to assess supplier capabilities
Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams and aligning priorities
Experience in supplier negotiations and relationship management for technical components
Structured, methodical approach to prioritisation and escalation of trade-offs
Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
