Product Charging Solutions Manager

For our Engineering Center in Raunheim, near Frankfurt, we are looking for a Product Charging Solutions Manager

We want to work with a flexible and enthusiastic individual who will be required to support the development of our European vehicles locally as well as globally – jointly with our teams in our headquarter in China.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for planning the full product line of residential AC charging stations, public DC ultra‑fast chargers, and commercial and industrial charging equipment in Europe, covering the localized needs of Germany, the UK, and other EU countries.
2. Research competitors, distribution channels, user habits, installation standards, and property access requirements in the European charging market to produce quarterly market insights.
3. Define interaction requirements for charging hardware, backend cloud systems, and mobile apps, balancing cost, energy efficiency, outdoor protection, and aesthetic integration with home interiors.
4. Oversee the entire new product lifecycle—from requirements definition, R&D, and certification through mass production to overseas market launch—managing NPI milestones and localization adaptation.
5. Collaborate with European charging station operators and residential customers to identify pain points in equipment operation, installation, and O&M, and drive improvements to the hardware and software user experience.
6. Develop Go‑to‑Market (GTM) strategies to support overseas marketing, trade shows, and channel product training.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in Power Electronics, Energy and Power Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fields.
2. At least 5 years of experience as a product manager for AC/DC charging stations, with a proven track record of successfully launching products in the EU market.
3. Familiarity with European charging station safety standards, grid connection regulations, IP outdoor protection ratings, and residential installation regulations.
4. Understanding of home energy storage + charging station integration systems; mastery of the basic logic of BMS and PCS in energy replenishment equipment.
5. Fluent in English with the ability to independently handle external business communications; proficiency in German is a plus; proficient in using Axure, XMind, and the Office suite.
6. Capable of cost estimation, competitive benchmarking, and product iteration planning; experience with on‑site assignments or business travel overseas is preferred.
