For Wurth Elektronik Midcom Inc. we are looking for you to join our team in full-time (40 hours) Product Development Engineer for High Power Magnetics (m/f/d) in München

Your exciting field of work

You develop passive components for high-power and HV applications and combine technical depth with a clear understanding of feasibility, interfaces, and impact. In an international environment, you work closely with internal departments, suppliers, plants, and customers. This way, you help turn technical requirements into robust products that perform in both development and manufacturing.

Understand technology

Develop passive components in the kilowatt range - from concept and design to manufacturing-oriented implementation.

Work internationally

Collaborate in a globally oriented team and closely coordinate with all relevant interfaces.

Connect processes

Work together with suppliers, factories, customers, and IC houses across multiple development projects.

Act with foresight

Understand development and design processes as a whole and drive project requirements forward in a structured way.

Demonstrate expertise

Consider manufacturing capabilities and technical feasibility at an early stage to develop robust and practical solutions.

Your convincing skills

• Basics: Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, energy technology, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Knowledge: At least three years of professional experience in the development of HV passive components in a high-power environment, as well as knowledge of relevant product development standards.
• Passion: Enjoy developing technical solutions in an international environment and bringing different perspectives together into one viable solution.
• Communication: Strong presentation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, along with good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Chinese is an advantage.
• Strengths: Structured and independent way of working, team spirit, and the ability to bring people, ideas, and requirements together effectively.
• Willingness to travel: Readiness to travel nationally and internationally.
