Product Manager – AI

Own the AI product that transforms how a billion shipments move. Real autonomy, real data, real impact.

About Us

nShift is the leading global provider of cloud delivery management solutions (SaaS). We enable the frictionless shipment and return of almost one billion shipments across 190 countries each year. We are headquartered in London and Oslo and have over 500 employees across offices in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Romania.

Our software is used by many of the world’s leading e‑commerce, retail, manufacturing, and 3PL shippers, because we have over 1,000 carriers integrated into our platform—nearly three times more than our competitors.

If you buy goods online, there is a strong chance that nShift has powered that delivery. Join us as we shape the future of shipping, one frictionless journey at a time.

Purpose of the role

nShift is building a first‑of‑its‑kind agentic AI product to transform how the logistics industry handles its most entrenched, manual workflows. Powered by autonomous AI agents and LLMs, it is unlike anything else on the market. This is not a conventional PM role. You will be the ‘Builder’ inside a small AI‑augmented pod. The team model is intentional: a tight human core governing agents moves faster and makes better decisions than a large conventional team.

You will have the rare combination of a private equity‑backed platform company's customer base and resources, the energy of a genuine 0‑to‑1 build, and a unique agentic architecture that standalone competitors cannot replicate. You won’t just launch a product; you’ll create a new category.

What you’ll be doing

Product Vision & Roadmap

  • Become the internal authority on the problem space, owning the customer pain points, workflows, and economics of the logistics industry.
  • Own and communicate the product vision to engineering, sales, and leadership, shaping long‑term strategy beyond near‑term planning.
  • Own the roadmap across a 3–6 month v1 build cycle, making hard prioritization calls to sequence features for maximum customer value and fastest path to market.
  • Define validation criteria for every bet before scaling and know when to kill something as clearly as when to build it.

Go‑to‑Market & Commercial Ownership

  • Build the value narrative for customer‑side buyers, navigating to senior decision‑makers and not just logistics managers.
  • Define ICP, segmentation, and positioning against both legacy incumbents and modern AI‑native entrants.
  • Own pricing and packaging strategy; own sales enablement, including battlecards, ROI frameworks, and product narrative.
  • Drive early customer engagement from discovery through pilot design to case study development.

Technical Product Leadership

  • Partner with engineering to guide productisation of AI agent capabilities into a scalable SaaS product, driving tradeoffs between quality, speed, and unit economics.
  • Design the right human–AI collaboration model for each capability: when AI assists (human‑in‑the‑loop), acts with oversight (human‑on‑the‑loop), or operates autonomously.
  • Leverage nShift's unique platform data to create defensible differentiation that standalone competitors cannot replicate.

AI‑Native Execution

  • Build functional prototypes using AI tooling to validate hypotheses before engineering commits to a full build.
  • Make competitive research and customer feedback synthesis continuous and automated.
  • Write specs as intent and outcomes, not implementation instructions. Engineers and AI handle the how; you own the what and why.

About you

You are AI‑native, not AI‑curious. You have fundamentally redesigned your workflows around AI agents and have strong, experience‑backed opinions on how AI changes how product teams should be structured and products built.

You thrive with high autonomy and a lean team. You are comfortable presenting ROI to a CFO as well as writing a technical spec or running customer discovery—often on the same day. You don't need a clear playbook; you write one.

You understand that in a small, AI‑augmented pod, the constraint is not engineering capacity—it is strategic clarity, decision velocity, and prioritization discipline. That is where you spend your energy.

What you will bring

Must‑Have

  • AI‑native working style: You use LLM assistants, AI coding tools, and prototyping agents as your default workflow, not occasional experiments. You can build functional proofs‑of‑concept independently.
  • The ability to quickly acquire the necessary domain knowledge in freight and logistics. You either come with knowledge from before or have a proven ability to quickly learn about a new domain.
  • Proven 0–to–1 AI product experience: You have personally driven an AI/ML‑powered product from concept to paying customers and product‑market fit in a PM role.
  • 3+ years shipping B2B SaaS. A track record of getting products to market, not just planning them.
  • Commercial acumen: You can build a business case, define pricing, and hold direct enterprise conversations about ROI.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML products: LLM pipelines, accuracy/cost/latency tradeoffs, data feedback loops, and productising AI for non‑technical users.
  • Excellent written and verbal English: you’ll present to leadership, write specs, and run customer discovery, often on the same day.

Nice to Have

  • Nordic or European market experience: regional carriers and the logistics landscape.
  • Competitive displacement track record: positioning against well‑funded incumbents and winning on differentiation.
  • Platform product experience: launching a new product line within an existing ecosystem.

Locations: Stockholm, Aarhus, Tilburg, Gothenburg, Silkeborg. Remote status: Hybrid.
