Product Manager (m/f/d) - Coding & Marking Equipment

In this role you will shape the strategy and roadmap for coding and marking equipment, aligning with company goals and market needs. You will steer product lifecycles, differentiate offerings, and translate customer demands into concrete developments with R&D and engineering teams. You will support sales with product knowledge and monitor portfolio performance to drive continuous improvement. • Define and maintain the product strategy and roadmap for coding & marking equipment aligned with company strategy and market trends
• Translate market needs into prioritized product requirements and collaborate with System Engineering, R&D, and Project Management to deliver developments
• Steer lifecycle of existing products (positioning, pricing, differentiation, cost/quality improvements, obsolescence, phase-out)
• Monitor competitors and market trends to identify differentiation or improvement opportunities
• Collect and formalize product requirements, build business cases, and present proposals in governance bodies
• Collaborate with R&D, System Engineering and Project Management to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Support Sales and distributors with product expertise and training
• Define and monitor KPIs of portfolio performance, prepare product line reviews, and contribute to process improvements

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Business/Marketing
• 5+ years of product management in an industrial B2B environment
• Proven track record in product lifecycle management (roadmap, launches, improvements, phase-outs)
• Strong understanding of product development processes and business case analysis
• Basic marketing knowledge (segmentation, positioning, competitive analysis)
• Knowledge of AI tools is an asset
• Experience with ERP/CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; customer-oriented and analytical
• Fluent in English; proactive and results-driven
• Based in Tuttlingen; occasional travel possible
