Product Manager (m/f/d) - E-Commerce | Web & Mobile

For our client, an internationally successful company in the e-commerce sector, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager (m/f/d) to support the development and optimization of a global digital platform.

In this role, you will focus on enhancing user experience, improving web and mobile applications, and optimizing customer journeys within an online marketplace environment. You will work closely with international design, engineering and business teams to turn customer needs into effective product solutions.

The position is initially limited to twelve months as maternity leave cover, with the possibility of an extension.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive the development and continuous improvement of digital products within an e-commerce and marketplace environment
• Analyze and optimize user journeys, checkout flows and frontend experiences across web and mobile platforms
• Identify customer needs and product opportunities through product discovery
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories, priorities and actionable development tasks
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, engineers and business stakeholders
• Manage product delivery from initial concept through implementation and launchUse customer feedback and product metrics to identify opportunities for improvement

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in digital product management, ideally 3-4 years in e-commerce or online marketplaces
• Strong understanding of marketplace business models, customer journeys and checkout processes
• Experience managing web and mobile products
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with UX/UI design and engineering teams
• Practical knowledge of product discovery, product delivery and agile development processes
• Solid technical understanding of digital platforms and frontend development
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Independent, proactive and structured working style with the ability to quickly take ownership
• Very good English communication skills
