Product Manager - Product Definition & Requirements (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to drive product definition at the intersection of market, business, and engineering. You will work closely with the leadership team, CPO, and Chief Engineer to translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements and shape the product roadmap from concept to launch.

Your responsibilities

  • Support in the definition of the product vision and strategy
  • Work closely with the CPO, Program Manager, and Chief Engineer to align product, technical and program priorities
  • Translate customer needs, market insights, and business priorities into clear product requirements
    • Engage with customers, partners, and the market to define and validate product requirements
    • Own and maintain top-level product requirements in close alignment with Systems Engineering
    • Prioritize features, enhancements, and product changes based on customer value, technical feasibility, and strategic fit
    • Drive product trade-offs across performance, cost, manufacturability, and certification requirements
  • Evaluate new markets, use cases and strategic partnerships based on customer value, technical feasibility and business potential
  • Support product positioning, pricing logic and go-to-market preparation together with Business Development and Marketing & Communications
  • Contribute to business case development and investment proposal

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering , Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Business Administration
  • 6 + years of experience in Product Management, Systems Engineering, or similar technical product roles
  • Strong ability to translate market and customer needs into technical product requirements
  • Experience with complex hardware systems ( e.g. aerospace, drones, robotics, automotive, industrial systems)
  • Strong systems thinking and understanding of technical feasibility and trade-offs
  • Commercial awareness and ability to balance customer, product, and business needs
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
