Alongside its asset business, the company operates its own platform for energy management and energy trading.

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Lead Analyst, Flexibility & Energy Markets to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of energy flexibility and analytics as the company expands into four new markets.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Analyst, Flexibility & Energy Markets , you will:

• Build cash flow analyses and business cases for energy projects involving heat pumps, photovoltaic (PV) systems, and batteries.
• Identify new revenue streams from flexibility and electricity market solutions.
• Build and expand the supplier and partner network across electricity markets.
• Participate in customer meetings to understand their needs and shape commercial structures accordingly.
• Develop dashboards and leverage AI tools to enhance and accelerate analysis.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• A strong background in data and analytics, including experience in building dashboards.
• A working understanding of electricity markets and the value created by flexibility.
• Proficiency in building and interpreting financial and cash flow models.
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to take ownership and identify new business opportunities beyond the given brief.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• German language proficiency.
• Exposure to heat pumps, PV systems, battery storage, or energy contracting.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in analytical work.

Day-to-Day

Your daily activities will include:

• Conducting in-depth financial and energy modeling for projects.
• Collaborating with customers to tailor solutions to their specific needs.
• Exploring and implementing innovative revenue opportunities in electricity markets.
• Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and partners.
• Utilizing AI tools to streamline workflows and improve analytical precision.
• Working closely with a small, fast-moving team to deliver visible results.
