Deliver complex Satellite Mission programs end-to-end, ensuring customer success, on-time execution, and scalable delivery excellence. You will ensure the full lifecycle of customer missions—from contract execution through delivery—acting as the central orchestrator across engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams. Your role is to ensure programs deliver against commitments while building strong, trusted customer relationships. Responsibilities
- Deliver assigned Satellite Mission programs on time, within budget, and to agreed performance standards
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term customer relationships, acting as the primary interface throughout program execution
- Establish and drive clear program plans (scope, milestones, resources, financials) aligned with internal and customer objectives
- Identify, manage, and resolve risks, dependencies, and escalations to ensure uninterrupted program delivery
- Orchestrate cross-functional execution across engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams
- Implement scalable program management practices that improve delivery reliability and efficiency across Missions
- Establish effective reporting structure and communication channels and mechanisms to ensure timely and accurate information flow among program team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership
Must Haves
- Proven experience (5–10 years) managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs involving advanced technology systems (e.g., space, defence, telecom, automotive, IT, or similar)
- Strong customer-facing experience, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and navigate complex requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Expertise in program planning, execution, and governance (scope, schedule, budget, risk management)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions under uncertainty
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Fluent German (native level) and ability to obtain security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge in Earth Observation (EO), SAR, or remote sensing programs
- Experience working on satellite or similarly complex system programs
- Experience with governmental or defense customers
- Knowledge of hardware, software, or embedded systems development
- Experience in product development environments
- Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a relevant field
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification
