Project Assistant - Automation & Mechanical Engineering

ekvip automation GmbH is a software company specializing in mechanical and plant engineering, headquartered in Leipzig with subsidiaries in the U.S. and Sarajevo. We develop automation software in accordance with IEC 61131-3, custom software solutions for the machine building industry, and our open‑source framework, cinnamon , for Beckhoff TwinCAT 3. In addition to software development, we support our customers worldwide with the commissioning and optimization of their production facilities.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Project Assistant who will provide organizational support to our project managers and ensure that our international customer projects run smoothly.

• Completed business training (e.g., industrial clerk, office management clerk, or equivalent)
• Ideally, professional experience in project assistance or project coordination
• Excellent organizational skills and a structured, independent approach to work
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Experience with Atlassian Jira is a plus
• Very good command of German and good command of English
• Enjoy working in a team and communicating in a technical environment
