Project Commissioning Engineer (f/m/d)

As a Commissioning Engineer at ABB, you lead technical commissioning of automation and control systems at customer sites. You collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth handover and reliable plant operation. You will plan, configure, and optimize control systems, conduct tests, and support service and modernization projects. • Coordinate engineering solutions with customers and project teams
• Plan, coordinate and execute commissioning of automation and control systems
• Parameterize, configure and optimize Control/Process Control systems
• Conduct functional and system tests with customer acceptance and trials
• Analyze and troubleshoot errors during commissioning
• Ensure adherence to schedule, quality, and cost specifications
• Create commissioning reports and technical documentation
• Support service assignments and modernization projects with ABB automation systems (800xA, Melody, P14)

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable technical training
• Initial or several years of experience in commissioning industrial or power plant facilities
• Knowledge of automation systems, control technology and process control
• Understanding of industrial networks, fieldbus systems and control engineering
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Strong customer orientation and excellent communication, teamwork, and responsibility
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Proficiency in German and good English (written and spoken)
