Project Development Manager – Europe

We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate the growth of our solar and energy storage business in Thailand, Vietnam.

You will take the lead in expanding our local business by developing and managing a strong network of solar distributors, installers, EPC partners and key accounts, while driving sales growth across our solar and energy storage portfolio.

This is a hands‐on commercial role for someone who understands the Philippine solar market, enjoys building customer relationships, and has a proven ability to turn new accounts and partnerships into sustainable sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and expand our network of solar distributors, installers, EPC contractors and other channel partners across the Philippines.
• Identify, onboard and develop new partners while growing sales with existing accounts.
• Build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline and improve market coverage across key regions.
• Drive product adoption and sales growth together with distributors and installer partners.
• Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales plans in line with the company’s APAC strategy.
• Take ownership of sales volume, revenue, pipeline and collection targets .
• Manage the full sales cycle, including account development, quotation, commercial negotiation, order closing and payment collection.

Business Development & Key Accounts

• Identify new business opportunities across solar PV, energy storage and related applications.
• Develop relationships with key accounts, EPCs, property developers and other strategic partners.
• Lead commercial discussions and coordinate internal resources to convert opportunities into successful sales and reference projects.
• Monitor developments in the Philippine solar and energy storage market, including electricity prices, regulations, customer demand and competitor activities.
• Track competitor pricing, product positioning, local inventory, channel strategies and warranty policies.
• Provide regular market insights to support pricing, product positioning and local go-to-market strategies.

Local Marketing & Partner Engagement

• Support customer events, product launches, installer engagement activities and other local sales initiatives.
• Represent the company at major solar and renewable energy exhibitions and industry events in the Philippines.
• Work closely with marketing teams to strengthen brand awareness and engagement within the local solar and energy storage ecosystem.

Cross‑functional Collaboration

• Work closely with pre‑sales, technical support, after‑sales, logistics and regional teams to support customers throughout the sales and delivery process.
• Coordinate demand forecasts and inventory requirements to support local product availability.
• Facilitate timely resolution of customer issues and maintain strong long‑term partner relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of sales or business development experience in solar PV, inverters, batteries, energy storage or related products.
• Proven experience working with distributors, solar installers, EPCs or other channel partners in the Philippines.
• An established customer and partner network within the Philippine solar market is highly preferred.
• Experience selling solar PV systems, inverters, batteries or energy storage solutions is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to independently develop new accounts, negotiate commercial terms and close sales.
• Track record of delivering against sales, revenue and/or collection targets.
• Good understanding of local solar and energy storage market and competitive landscape.
• Good English communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial mindset, self‑driven and comfortable working independently in a fast‑growing international environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.
