Purpose of Position

As a Project Engineer CER Technology you drive group-wide investment projects related to CER technologies, automation and industrial solutions across ceramic plants. As the technical project leader and owner, you translate production and business requirements into robust investment concepts and lead implementation in close collaboration with plants, Central Purchasing and Corporate Controlling.

Main Tasks

Ceramic Technology & Process Development

Advance CER technology in collaboration with plants and experts
translate production needs into standardized technology concepts
drive continuous process improvement with a focus on OEE, stability and operational excellence

Automation & Digitalization

Define CER-process-based requirements
lead and coordinate automation and digitalization projects
ensure scalable and standardized solutions

Business Partner

Coordinate IT & operations related topics as part of investment projects and ensure alignment of digital requirements with overall project goals
Collaborate with IT, Central Purchasing and Corporate Controlling to ensure efficient implementation and cost transparency of group-wide investments
ensure alignment between CER technology, automation suppliers and IT

Project Engineering & Coordination

Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies and stakeholder alignment

Education and Qualification

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or comparable). Project leadership experience in an industrial environment is essential
Experience in industrial project engineering with strong project leader skills; experience in the ceramic or process industry is a strong advantage
Solid understanding of ceramic production processes, automation systems, and industrial digitalization
Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
English proficiency and willingness to travel
