Hitachi is seeking a **Project Engineer (f/m/d)** to lead and contribute to the successful execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to project timelines and budgets. **How you'll make an impact*** Lead the technical planning, design, development, and implementation phases of assigned engineering projects* Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams* Oversee and guide junior engineers and technical staff, providing mentorship and technical expertise* Develop and review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and other project documentation* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle* Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges and issues that arise during project execution* Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies* Prepare and present technical reports and project updates to management and clients* Conduct the FST in Sweden (Ludvika)* Be part of the commissioning on site (willingness for travelling)**Your background*** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Civil, etc.) or a related technical field* Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in a technical engineering role, with a strong focus on project execution* Proven experience in leading technical aspects of complex engineering projects from conception to completion* Demonstrated expertise in relevant engineering principles, tools, and methodologies pertinent to the specific industry* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment**More about us*** Collective wage agreement from IG Metall (Baden-Württemberg) including special payment* Enjoy the flexibility to work from home up to 50% of the time Flexible working hours (working time accounts)* Motivated, warm team with young and very experienced colleague* 30 days vacation## Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
