Overview

As a Project Engineer in the Non Destructive Testing & Special Product Department, you will drive the development of new processes and equipment from concept to field application. You’ll lead cross-functional projects in a European Service Center setting, coordinating with customers, suppliers and internal teams to meet performance and safety goals. The role supports a carbon-free future by enabling advanced repair, maintenance and decommissioning capabilities for nuclear facilities. You’ll work with senior engineers to shape technical solutions and ensure timely delivery.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Initiate and plan development projects across all phases
  • Apply planning tools to optimize project performance and reduce inefficiencies
  • Manage scope, schedule, cost and risk through integrated change control
  • Prepare cost forecasts, progress evaluations, and earned value updates
  • Coordinate communications with team, customers and stakeholders
  • Maintain project databases and documentation systems
  • Close projects by archiving financial, scheduling, and resource data
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, lessons learned, and risk avoidance
  • Support the development of offers with technical descriptions, cost estimates, and schedules
  • Interface with Supply Chain, Invoicing, Accounting, Sales and Quality teams
  • Lead project lifecycles from proposal to implementation with detailed execution plans
  • Balance constraints (scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, risks)
  • Develop recovery plans to bring delayed activities back on track
  • Monitor spend vs. forecast and address deviations promptly
  • Understand and control the project Scope of Work and customer changes
  • Willingness to travel to customers, suppliers and Westinghouse facilities

  • Comfort interfacing with multiple departments (Supply Chain, Invoicing, Accounting, Sales, Quality)
