Project Leader Engineering (w/m/d)

As Project Leader, you will guide the development of new vacuum products within the Product Creation Process to meet market, performance, and cost targets. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget, translating requirements into actionable specs and ensuring regulatory compliance. You shape the project from planning through documentation, with a focus on delivering high-quality, market-ready solutions. • Plan and execute NPI projects: estimate timelines, budgets, and technical risks; identify dependencies and mitigation actions; track progress and escalate issues
• Translate marketing requirements into Product/Engineering specifications; align internal teams and external partners on deliverables
• Support design reviews to verify compliance with functional, regulatory, and customer needs
• Maintain Technical Construction Files (TCF); assist with manuals, safety docs, and regulatory submissions (CE, UL)
• Prepare formal test reports detailing objectives, methods, setups, results, and conclusions

• 3+ years of project management experience in engineering, electronics, or product development
• Ability to plan and deliver projects to scope, schedule, cost, and quality
• Capacity to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams; monitor progress and report KPIs
• Fluent in German and English
• Experience or understanding of rotary machinery; vacuum pump experience preferred
