Project Manager (6-Month Contract)

WE ARE VERY is a multilingual content creation and localization agency. Founded 2016 as a Swiss-based language service provider, WE ARE VERY built its name as the creative star in the localization industry with its stellar team and unparalleled network of professional copywriters and linguists.

We operate globally with a creative core team in Los Angeles, project management staff in Europe, Asia and South America, and a network of more than 3,000 copywriters, linguists, content strategists, SEO specialists, localization experts, as well as a roster of selected AI technology partners.

You have a passion for languages and writing. You’ve managed localization, multimedia, and content creation projects for an agency or similar and understand what it takes to put together briefs and meet client expectations. You’re super organized, a great multitasker, but always focused. You have experience building relationships and are not afraid to pick up the phone. Communication and teamwork come naturally to you. You’re looking to grow with our team and give it your all to make things happen.

This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension.

• Approx. five years of experience at a creative or localization agency or similar
• Tech savvy and fast learner of new tools and software
• Extensive work with freelancers and contractors
• Knowledge of quality control methods
• Speaker of a language other than English
• Great writing skills in English
• University bachelor degree or higher
• Based in the Americas
• Available to work US business hours (preference for 8am to 5pm PT)
• Able to work as an international contractor for a US company

Every team member counts. As a project manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following points:

• Be the first point of contact for clients and build valuable business relationships
• Be responsible for the entire project life cycle and consult clients
• Submit quotations for localization, copywriting and transcreation projects
• Collaborate with copywriters and linguists to execute projects
• Manage project budgets and timelines
• Play an active role in assuring quality
• Leverage language technology and project management tools
• Work with international team
