Project Manager AI Business Solutions (m/w/d)

Location: Waiblingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Full-time on site position.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI, automation, and digital transformation opportunities across business functions.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Translate business requirements into structured project plans, solution concepts, and implementation roadmaps.
• Lead AI and digital transformation projects from concept through deployment and adoption.
• Coordinate pilots, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and minimum viable products (MVPs).
• Monitor project timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Gather, analyze, and present business and project data to support effective decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and IT teams.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, technology partners, and regional or global stakeholders.
• Support change management and user adoption to ensure sustainable implementation success.
• Track business impact through KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks for scaling AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience in project management, digital transformation, process improvement, business excellence, or a comparable field.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Good understanding of business processes within industrial, manufacturing, or technical environments.
• Strong affinity for AI, automation, data analytics, and digital technologies.
• Experience with analytics, reporting, workflow, or business intelligence tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change management capabilities.
• Fluent English skills; German language skills are highly desirable.
