Technical Project Manager – Industrial Battery Storage/ Solar

SR2 are partnering with an innovative clean energy technology company that is transforming how industrial businesses reduce energy costs and carbon emissions through intelligent battery storage solutions.

Backed by early-stage investors and already delivering projects for industrial clients, our client is looking for a Technical Project Manager to take ownership of battery energy storage projects from contract award through to commissioning.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead industrial battery storage projects from signed contract through commissioning
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers throughout delivery
• Coordinate electrical contractors, civil contractors, equipment manufacturers, certification bodies and customer engineering teams
• Review and understand Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical connection concepts and technical specifications
• Manage grid connection applications with network operators and metering providers
• Coordinate technical responses relating to standards including VDE-AR-N 4105 and 4110
• Ensure all approvals, certifications and commissioning documentation are completed
• Identify technical risks early and provide practical solutions
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience that creates long-term reference clients
• Improve project delivery processes, documentation, CRM workflows and project standards as the company grows

What we're looking for:

• 1+ years' experience in technical project management or project delivery within energy, electrical engineering, PV, battery storage or building services
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or similar, or qualified Electrical Technician/Master with relevant project experience
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical infrastructure
• Experience working with grid operators and grid connection processes
• Ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
• Fluent German (C2) and good English
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across Germany
