Project Manager (m/f/d) for international Investment and Contract Controlling

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) for international Investment and Contract Controlling to join us in Potsdam on a permanent basis, starting immediately.

Your responsibilities

• Responsibility for investment controlling of wind and solar farm projects, from financial close through the construction phase to ongoing operations
• Playing a central role in monitoring and managing all budgets, as well as preparing progress and financial reports for senior management
• Responsibility for centralised bank covenant management, including maintaining, monitoring and updating the covenant register
• Ensuring compliance with all loan covenants, deadlines, and disclosure and reporting obligations
• Analysing relevant financial indicators and project milestones, including deriving recommendations
• Working closely with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Project Management and external lenders
• Providing support with waivers, contract amendments, refinancing and restructuring
• Further developing processes, tools and dashboards, as well as ensuring data quality, compliance and documentation

Your profile

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a comparable discipline
• Several years’ professional experience in Controlling or Covenant Management, Corporate Finance, Treasury or a comparable financial environment
• In-depth knowledge of financing and loan agreements, as well as the ability to analyse and assess complex legal and financial issues
• Strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a structured and independent approach to work
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as assertiveness and a proactive approach to work
• Experience with controlling, covenant or contract management tools is desirable
• Business-fluent English; knowledge of German and/or Ukrainian is an advantage
