Project Manager (m/f/d) – Steel Industrial & Commercial Construction

Nordec is a leading supplier of steel frame structures and façade solutions for construction projects across the Nordic region, with an established presence in Central and Eastern Europe, including Poland, Lithuania, the Czech Republic and Germany.

The company designs, manufactures and installs steel structures covering the project lifecycle from engineering to installation. Projects range from industrial facilities, logistics buildings and data centres to commercial and public buildings, sports and cultural venues, as well as bridge and transport infrastructure.

Nordec operates its own production units in Peräseinäjoki and Ylivieska in Finland, Oborniki in Poland and Gargždai in Lithuania.

We are looking for a Project Manager to support our team in Germany.

Your responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the complete execution of steel industrial, logistics and commercial projects
• Leadership and coordination of the project team throughout all project phases
• Technical clarification and awarding of subcontractor services together with procurement
• Client support and coordination with specialist engineers and planning partners
• Ensuring quality, schedule and cost control
• Risk management and proactive development of solutions in case of deviations

Key success factors in this role are

• Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
• Extensive experience in structural works and/or turnkey construction (industrial/commercial sector) – preferably in steel construction
• Strong communication skills and service‑oriented mindset
• Structured, independent and solution‑driven working style
• Leadership capability and team spirit
• Positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility
• Willingness to travel
• Fluency in German language, English is an advantage
