Project Manager & Planning (m/f/d)

We are looking for a state‑of‑the‑art project manager & planning to enable ultimate market success of power electronics solutions developed by the Team Nürnberg Power Electronics Innovation Lab.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (from concept to industrialization) including work breakdown structure, milestones and critical path for power electronics projects
Coordinate project planning with hardware, control, mechanical, test and industrialization engineers, ensuring dependencies and interfaces are clearly defined
Monitor progress versus plan, manage risks and issues and implement mitigation plans to secure schedule, cost and quality targets
Organize and lead regular project review meetings, consolidate status reports and present progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and to the management
Manage change requests (scope, requirements, design changes) and assess their impact on timing, cost, and resources for power electronics projects
Ensure project documentation, configuration baselines and gate deliverables are complete and compliant with internal processes and customer requirements
Coordinate with purchasing, suppliers, and manufacturing to secure material availability, prototype, and ramp‑up for series production of power electronic products
Contribute to continuous improvement of project management methods, planning standards and reporting tools

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, industrial engineering or similar technical field
Several years of experience in project planning or project management in an R&D, industrial environment or consulting, ideally related to power electronics or related high‑tech products
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to build realistic schedules and resource plans
Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel and manage priorities in a dynamic technical environment
Proactive problem‑solving and risk management mindset with focus on on‑time delivery
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German and/or Italian as a plus
