Project Manager & Planning (m/f/d)

Stellenbeschreibung:

We are looking for a state‑of‑the‑art project manager & planning to enable ultimate market success of power electronics solutions developed by the Team Nürnberg Power Electronics Innovation Lab.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (from concept to industrialization) including work breakdown structure, milestones and critical path for power electronics projects
  • Coordinate project planning with hardware, control, mechanical, test and industrialization engineers, ensuring dependencies and interfaces are clearly defined
  • Monitor progress versus plan, manage risks and issues and implement mitigation plans to secure schedule, cost and quality targets
  • Organize and lead regular project review meetings, consolidate status reports and present progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and to the management
  • Manage change requests (scope, requirements, design changes) and assess their impact on timing, cost, and resources for power electronics projects
  • Ensure project documentation, configuration baselines and gate deliverables are complete and compliant with internal processes and customer requirements
  • Coordinate with purchasing, suppliers, and manufacturing to secure material availability, prototype, and ramp‑up for series production of power electronic products
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management methods, planning standards and reporting tools

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, industrial engineering or similar technical field
  • Several years of experience in project planning or project management in an R&D, industrial environment or consulting, ideally related to power electronics or related high‑tech products
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to build realistic schedules and resource plans
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel and manage priorities in a dynamic technical environment
  • Proactive problem‑solving and risk management mindset with focus on on‑time delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German and/or Italian as a plus
