As soon as a customer places an order, you take on responsibility for its execution. You coordinate with customers, design, toolmaking, purchasing, and production, ensuring that a technical idea becomes a functioning serial product. In doing so, you keep track of deadlines, technical requirements, and the next project steps. You are not a classic salesperson or a mere office assistant. You are the central interface between the customer and production.**Why the position is special** At many companies, a project manager oversees standard products.
