Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)

In this role you lead end-to-end customer projects within the CBDC ecosystem, partnering with central banks and cross-functional teams to deliver on scope and objectives. You will manage risks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations across international environments, including subcontractors and tenders. Your leadership guides projects through complex challenges toward successful outcomes while enabling delivery of a global lighthouse digital currency project. You will collaborate closely with sales and technical contacts to ensure value for customers.

• Lead independent, complex customer projects across backend apps, wallets, apps and smart cards within the CBDC ecosystem
• Manage project scope, requirements analysis, and end-to-end delivery from inception to implementation
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks in dynamic environments
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across hierarchical levels in international settings
• Oversight of subcontractors to ensure alignment on scope, quality, and timelines
• Collaborate on tender processing with sales and technical contacts

• Proven years of experience managing complex IT projects for customers
• Strong leadership and the ability to inspire project teams
• Resilient, decisive leadership under pressure with strategic focus
• Excellent English communication with diverse stakeholders; other languages a plus
• Strong analytical skills and ability to grasp new, complex topics
• Effective moderation and steering of business-content discussions, even when not expert in the topic
• Experience with payments projects or high IT security requirements is advantageous
• Experience with economics or central banks is advantageous
