Project Manager (Software Delivery & Customer Solutions)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and skilled project manager to join Secapp, responsible for software development and deployment projects. Your daily work will mainly involve leading customer-oriented development and deployment projects, aligning customer needs and operational models, planning and scheduling projects, and collaborating with various stakeholders. You will act as a link between customers, product management, technical experts, and the commercial team. You will ensure projects progress in a controlled manner, risks are identified early, and the best solutions are found for customer needs, either through existing features or new developments, integrations, and data content planning. Responsibilities

• As a project manager, influence the harmonization of operational models through your expertise and experience, and help develop and embed project-based working methods into our daily operations.
• Manage software and system projects through their various phases (from initiation to Go-Live preparations, acceptance testing, etc.).
• Collaborate with customers, product management, technical experts, and the commercial team to ensure alignment and successful deliveries.
• Identify risks early and ensure controlled project progress; propose solutions leveraging existing features or new developments, integrations, and data content planning.
• Provide clear documentation such as project plans, requirement specifications, reports, and project descriptions; lead meetings, motivate project members, facilitate discussions, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Lead deployments and coordinate multi-supplier environments; experience in tendering or procurement processes; understanding of public procurement and procurement law.
• Communicate effectively in Finnish and English; work with domestic and international clients; maintain an organized, solution-oriented, proactive, and collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Experience managing software and system projects; understanding SaaS business is a plus.
• Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects.
• Technical understanding of software development lifecycle, backlogs, sprints, release processes, testing, acceptance criteria, and bug prioritization; knowledge of version control.
• Basic knowledge of integrations and deployments (e.g., REST API, webhooks, Entra ID, SSO, user synchronization, data models, authentication, testing integrations).
• Knowledge of information security practices (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, access management, MFA, encryption, logging, audit trail, data protection requirements, security risks).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to produce clear documentation and lead meetings; capable of driving results in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Proficiency in Finnish and English as working languages, with excellent written and spoken skills in both.

Logistics
