Project Procurement Specialist (m/w/d)

In this role you will drive end-to-end procurement for renewable energy projects in Germany, strengthening the local supplier base and ensuring compliant sourcing. You will partner with legal, engineering, and project teams to manage contracts, risk, and supplier onboarding, delivering on time and within budget. You will optimize sourcing for utilities and grid components, supporting TSO/DSO programs and cross-functional project delivery. This is a practical, impact-driven position in a fast-evolving energy environment with a focus on governance and value creation.

• Develop and maintain a local supplier base for renewable projects (solar and wind)
• Lead RFQ/RFI processes, benchmarking, bid evaluation, and onboarding
• Collaborate with legal/technical teams to manage NDAs, negotiate terms, and assess supplier/project risk
• Manage end-to-end procurement for utilities with experience supporting TSO/DSO clients (e.g., TenneT, Elia)
• Cross-functionally work with engineering, project management, construction, and finance to meet timelines and budgets
• Oversee sourcing of critical grid-tied components (MV switchgear, SCADA, battery enclosures, transformers)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field with experience in energy/utilities/infrastructure procurement
• Proven procurement planning and project support experience
• Knowledge of EPC/turnkey procurement, technical specs, terms, and risk
• Expertise in supplier qualification, contract negotiation, and subcontractor management
• Hands-on sourcing, category management, and vendor onboarding
• Coordination with engineering, legal, logistics, and project delivery teams
• Fluency in English and German
