Your role at Promoter

As a Project Manager Automotive, you will manage demanding consulting projects for automotive manufacturers, importers, and dealer groups. At the same time, you will further develop our consulting services in the areas of used cars, CPO (Contract Purchase Organisation), and automotive retail, and identify new topics and business opportunities.

Your industry knowledge, your ideas and your sense for customer needs form the basis for developing new consulting approaches and projects from market changes and specific customer requirements.

Further develop existing consulting services for manufacturers, importers and trading groups, and conceive, develop and manage new consulting approaches.

Identify new trends, customer needs and market potential in the used car business, and derive new project ideas and business opportunities from specific customer challenges.

Gather and structure customer requirements and develop concrete project approaches from them.

Design, develop and implement used car and CPO programs

Together with our experts, we develop service offerings, concepts, presentations and decision-making templates.

Translating new business potential into concrete customer approaches, project ideas and offers.

Project teams as well as internal and external consultants coordinate

Responsible for budgets, resources, milestones and quality of results

Moderating workshops, project meetings and steering committees

Advising clients at the decision-making and management level and confidently representing projects

This is what you bring with you

Several years of experience in project management, consulting, the automotive trade or a comparable automotive function

Solid knowledge of the used car business - for example, in processes, inventory management, marketing, price control or performance management.

Ideally, experience with used car, remarketing, or Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) programs.

Very good understanding of the economic context in the automotive trade

Entrepreneurial thinking and a good sense for customer needs, market potential and new business opportunities.

Enjoyment in developing new consulting approaches and projects from challenges.

Ability to structure customer requirements and translate them into compelling concepts, offers, and solutions.

Confident demeanor and negotiation skills at the decision-maker and management level

Strong conceptual, communication, and presentation skills

Proactive, structured and solution-oriented approach to work

Digital affinity and interest in data-driven solutions and new technologies

Very good German skills (C2) and good English skills (B2)

Willingness to travel for business and attend customer meetings
