What You’ll Do
The primary location for this role is remote in Baton Rouge, LA, with frequent travel throughout the state (up to 50% of the time). The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm CT, with occasional weekend events.
As a Provider Engagement Specialist III (PES) in the Network Development team, you will:
- Manage provider relationships and drive engagement within your assigned territory or specialized market.
- Execute strategic initiatives, support providers, coordinate events, and address day-to-day operational needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for providers and community organizations.
- Provide input on central engagement strategies based on on‑ground experience.
- Manage day‑to‑day challenges and decision‑making independently, while collaborating with the Director on larger systemic issues.
- Work closely with care teams and local organizations to raise brand recognition.
- Identify new engagement opportunities by analyzing Tableau data and sharing insights with PCPs.
- Mentor and support new and associate‑level team members.
- Meet and exceed established monthly engagement targets.
- Build relationships with health plans independently.
What You Bring & How You Qualify
- Passionate about reimagining pediatric health care and committed to supporting children with complex medical conditions.
- Dynamic personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with scientific terminology and able to navigate various medical environments such as hospitals, doctors’ offices, and pharmacies.
- Familiarity with physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners; pediatrics preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in sales, direct marketing, or market development in a medical or healthcare field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; CRM software proficiency preferred.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred but not required.
