Since our founding in 1986, we have employed over 3,000 people across headquarters in Santa Ana, California, and offices in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Japan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Canada, Mexico, Germany, and France. We are expanding operations to Germany and are looking for a Trading Card Specialist to join our team in Frankfurt.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and classify sports cards and their variations across major releases and manufacturers.
- Identify and classify non‑sports cards, from vintage releases to modern collectibles such as Pokémon and Yu‑Gi‑Oh.
- Research and identify event tickets, including sports and entertainment categories.
- Use trade publications, catalogs, archives, databases, and online sources to verify and enrich item information.
- Maintain and update the PSA specification database with accurate, structured, and consistent data.
- Support internal teams with research‑based questions and item identification.
- Communicate with manufacturers, partners, and internal stakeholders when additional clarification is needed.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Customer Support, and other teams to ensure accurate item classification and smooth workflows.
Who You Are
- Strong knowledge of trading cards, tickets, and/or collectibles.
- Passion for research, categorization, and detail‑oriented work.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a structured and accurate way, even with large volumes of detailed information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working across teams in an international environment.
- Fluent German is required.
- English at B2 level or higher is required.
- Must be eligible to work in the European Union (no visa sponsorship available).
Onsite Requirement: This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week. The position is located in our Frankfurt office.
Additional Information: This role requires the successful completion of a criminal background check.
